Engaging Christian Contemplative Practices - Activist Branch

  • St Gabriel's House 173 Appleton Street Arlington, MA, 02476 United States (map)

Registration is closed. We invite you to explore our other upcoming offerings.

Whether you’re new to contemplative practice or seeking to deepen your spiritual grounding, we invite you to join our co-Executive Director, the Rev. Matt Carriker and colleagues of Bethany House of Prayer for a four-session series that explores the rich and varied branches of Christian contemplative tradition.

Inspired by the “Tree of Contemplative Practices”, each session will gently introduce a different pathway for spiritual connection and reflection–including: Generative, Relational, Creative, Movement, Activist, and Ritual. In this session, we introduce Activist Branch.

This series is designed to be accessible, spacious, and spiritually resonant–whether you come from a Christian background or are simply curious about contemplative ways of being. Each branch offers a unique invitation to connect with the Divine, with others, and with your own inner wisdom.

$80 for a drop-in to one session, lunch included.
