While our roots are in the Episcopal tradition, we welcome retreatants from all spiritual backgrounds who desire a contemplative space to renew their spirit.
Our peaceful campus provides gardens, walking paths, and a labyrinth, perfect for silent retreats, meditation, prayer, or spiritual nourishment.
Personal Self-Guided Retreats
Individuals are invited to spend multi-day, weekend, or week-long retreats at Bethany House of Prayer. Your retreat may be completely self-guided or choose to include optional spiritual direction.
A personal retreat includes:
A simple, private room with bed and linens
Access to a shared bathroom
Access to garden areas, walking paths, and peaceful grounds
Complimentary coffee and tea
Use of a fully equipped shared kitchen for meal preparation
Please note:
Meals are not provided, but a variety of cafes and restaurants are nearby
During your stay, other individuals or groups may be on campus, but you will still have full access to gardens and grounds
St. John’s House has stairs and is not fully accessible; please let us know if you require step-free accommodations
