Join other women in a contemplative retreat to wonder aloud:

Are there hats you’re ready to set aside this season?

Hats (roles) you want to recalibrate or redefine?

Hats (responsibilities) you’re ready to delegate or share?

The retreat begins at 4:30 PM on Friday and ends by 3:30 PM on Saturday. Dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday are included.

  • Rev. Sandra Dorsainvil is an ordained minister with the American Baptist Churches, USA. Her bilingual abilities in English and French and cross-cultural lived experiences in Africa, Europe and North America, offer a sensitive approach to services she provides through CONNECT-SD, LLC the coaching and consulting private practice she founded. She has graduate degrees from Boston College and Boston University. She is a graduate of the American Baptist Churches-USA Nehemiah Leadership program and a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. She completed the Transforming Community Program with the Shalem Institute.

    Rev. Sandra has 40 years of human services, disability advocacy, group retreat facilitation, pastorate, national and international ministry engagements, and leadership coaching. She has worked in varying ministry settings, academia, and non-profit platforms. She has been a leader in mission faith-based organizations. She pioneered global virtual trips with ABC International Ministries in the height of the COVID pandemic.

    She is a published author of devotional books, Beacons of Hope, Walking with Generosity, Luces de Esperanza, as well as a Team Leader’s guide for leaders of short- term mission, Short-Term Mission Team Essentials – Together On The Journey. Published articles appear regularly in The Christian Citizen (https://www.christiancitizen.us).

    For the past three years, Rev. Sandra’s ministry has focused on providing self-care and soul care to faith leaders and clergy spouses. Her contract work with The Center for Career Development & Ministry has enabled her to offer contemplative pauses globally to clergy.

    Rev. Sandra resides on the East Coast, near her small grandchildren. Fun time = paddleboarding.
