Longing for silence in a world that thrives on noise? Longing for stillness amidst overwhelming to-do lists that clamor for our attention? Nurture your soul with the gift of silence during a three-day overnight retreat on the beautiful grounds of Bethany House of Prayer. Directed Silent Retreats are a time to deepen your relationship with God. You will be assigned a trained spiritual director with whom you will meet briefly each day to discern the movements of God in your life. Each day begins with a morning contemplative practice. Aside from daily conversations with your spiritual director and the time you set aside for personal prayer, your time is unstructured. An atmosphere of prayerful silence is maintained in the houses and on the grounds for the duration of the retreat. Cost is $400, which includes meals and overnight lodging. Limit of 12 people.
