Retreat leadership and consultation

We appreciate opportunities to encourage and support the ministry of individuals and communities.  Bethany Colleagues provide retreat leadership both on and offsite.  We are also blessed to have associates and friends who share in this leadership with us.

Our custom is to have two Bethany colleagues share in leading a retreat, acknowledging the importance of colleagiality in leadership and to offer more possibilities for others to engage given diverse styles and approaches.

Some of the retreat groups which we most often serve include: entire congregations and groups within such as vestries, prayer and spirituality groups, women and men’s groups, mothers of young children, mission teams; diocesan clergy spouse and partners; diocesan ministry committees and workshops; Chaplains; Clergy family gatherings; spiritual director and clergy colleague groups; interfaith clergy associations; seminarians; pre-confirmation; and pre-ordination retreats.

Bethany Colleagues also have experience in sabbatical planning and provide consultation for clergy preparing for Sabbath time and returning from sabbatical.
